Are you Lucky or an Outlier?

I just finished reading the “Outliers, The Story of Success” by Malcolm Gladwell.  This is a fascinating read and I highly suggest that you grab a copy and dig in.   Not only does this book provoke thoughtful questions, it also helps to explain why luck is not the reason people are successful.

How many times have you heard someone describe a successful person as being lucky?  Lucky is winning the lottery, it took no skill and everyone that purchases a ticket has the same chances in the game of luck.  But true success requires that certain elements be present.

By reading this book you will have a better understanding of why Bill Gates is successful, why the Beatles became such a success and more about the “10,000 Hour Rule”.

Did you every wonder what the great hockey players all have in common or why being born in 1930 added to your potential success.  I don’t want to give away the book so you will just have to read this 200 page book and find out.  I guarantee that you will be talking about this book as I am.

Enjoy the read and remember, you can purchse this book through the Key Pointe Coaching book store!
